CHICAGO (IL) — Indian Seniors of Chicago celebrated its Annual Day successfully with a social, cultural and religious program for the benefit of members and the Indian community at Manav Seva Mandir, Benselville, IL on November 22.

About 500 members attended the function.

After dinner, Hira Patel on behalf of the executive committee welcomed all at the event which, he said, should be enjoyed as a family event rather than a public event.

Rohit Joshi recited slokas for the lamp lighting ceremony and Hema Shastri and Madhu Patel requested all the guests to light the lamp which was followed by a group photo session.

Naresh Dekhtawala requested the senior participants to start Swagat Geet. Chief guest Mafat Patel was greeted with flowers. Dr. Chitranjan Patel was greeted by Hira Patel and Dahya Prajapati was greeted by Dr. Narsinh Patel, and all of them spoke on the occasion.

C V Desai and Hema Shastri thanked the sponsors who were offered flowers. Naresh Dekhtawala then introduced the musical party members who rendered some lilting songs.
