Homeland Security raided a strip club on December 20 to crack down on about $10,000 worth of bootleg Red Sox and Patriots sports shirts.

Investigators reportedly found strippers at the Foxy Lady in Brockton, Mass. sporting the sports gear when they searched the club past midnight and seized boxes containing 420 jerseys with fake team logos.

The strippers were wearing some of the knockoff gear when investigators entered Foxy Lady.

Sources said Foxy Lady bought the low-quality knock-offs for $3 to $5 a pop. The club marked them up to $10 for customers or gave them away for free with the purchase of two lap dances.

The owner, Frank Caswell, will receive a court summons for the counterfeit goods.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson said money made from bootleg goods often –but not always–helps fuel criminal activities abroad. No wonder, Homeland Security Investigations unit has been cracking down on such activity in recent years.

The Idaho-based Coalition to Advance the Protection of Sports Logos tipped off local authorities to Foxy Lady's alleged illegal money-making scheme.
