Zayn Malik’s Post-Breakup Look Proves Most Men Go Through A ‘Kabir Singh’ Phase As Well

The end of a relationship is always difficult, no matter what anyone says. Despite your best attempts at concealing the heartbreak, your true emotions find a way to express themselves through your actions, speech, or even in the clothes you wear.

Many men take breakups as a personal affront to everything they stood for. I did too, at a point in my life. After all, it’s only natural to feel dejected after having invested yourself in this whole other person, to only have a premature end to a once seemingly endless love story. 

It’s always advisable to keep your emotions in check, however, it’s easier said than done. 

Those of us who take breakups extremely poorly, naturally, spiral into this sense of self-pity, often letting ourselves go. And it’s visible externally. 

All of a sudden, we become withdrawn. Our beards, overgrown with unkempt wisps of hair become totemic of our unprocessed emotions, like the oft-panned and divisive character, Kabir Singh.

Recently, Zayn Malik sent his fans into a meltdown after showcasing a brand new look on Instagram. 

The Pillow Talk pop star debuted his dishevelled style through his first post of the year 2022, where he could be seen looking away from the camera, eyes guarded by stylish, round-framed Lennon glasses, and a densely rugged beard holding the look together. 

There’s no denying that the former One Directioner still looked roguishly handsome, however, his devoted fans noticed a more-than-passing resemblance to Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh.

While the resemblance is uncanny, what makes it even more interesting is that the picture shows us how he’s faring after his breakup from Victoria’s Secret supermodel Gigi Hadid. 

So, from an onlooker’s perspective, it looks like Zayn’s slowly slipping into the Kabir Singh side of his personality.

However, we hope he has the necessary support from his loved ones to ensure he doesn’t end up following the tumultuous path of his purported lookalike. 

While some called Zayn Malik an ‘expensive Kabir Singh’, a particular Instagram user went ahead and compared Zayn Malik to other actors as well, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s and Bollywood Greek God Hrithik Roshan in particular. 

Whatever be the case, we hope only the look has been borrowed off the infamous Kabir Singh, and nothing else, for Zayn’s sake.
