As per reports, Karisma faced a lot of incidents of domestic abuse from Sunjay as well as his mother. According to Jagran, Karisma admitted that her life completely changed after marriage as she suffered from serious problems every day.

Talking about her worst memory from the marriage which ended in 2016, Karisma said that Sunjay actually tried auctioning her on their honeymoon.

Yeah, you read that right! It really seems terrible to read it. Imagine she actually went through such hell.

According to Karisma, the torture from Sunjay began as soon as she got married to him, after which, during her honeymoon, he tried forcing her to sleep with his friends. However, when Karisma refused, she was beaten up by Sunjay and he even went on to the extent of quoting her price to one of his friends. Things actually did not end there.

It was also reported that Sunjay was actually still in a physical relationship with his first wife, and when Karisma tried to confront him regarding the same, he assaulted her in return. According to reports, things were so bad that Karisma finally decided to put an end to the torture and in 2012, started living away from Sunjay along with her kids.

She then filed for a divorce from him and finally separated from him after being involved in a toxic marriage for a period of 13 years. She really did go through a lot. A lot of strength to her and hopefully she is living a better life today.
