When Kangana Ranaut Called Urmila Matondkar A Soft Porn Star & Here’s How It All Started

BUY-SELL | HELP WANTED | MATRIMONIAL

If you have been following Kangana Ranaut’s interviews, you might have a fair idea that she can be brutally blunt. In fact, thanks to her explosive interviews, there was a lot of chitter-chatter around the fact that Kangana wanted to join politics last year.

She was in the news for her statement equating Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and for also bashing the drug mafia in Bollywood. This was also the time when her office was demolished while she was in her hometown.

In an interview with Times Now, Kangana was asked if she was creating controversy to get a political ticket into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Sadly, Kangana calls herself a feminist but didn’t flinch at all with the fact that she insulted Urmila Matondkar while responding to the anchor’s claim.

She went on to say, “One doesn’t have to be a genius to figure it’s not very difficult to get a ticket… Even Urmila Matondkar is a soft porn star. I know it’s very blatant… But she’s not known for her acting for sure. What is she known for? For doing soft porn right? If she can get a ticket, why won’t I get a ticket?”

Here’s a clip of the interview:

It all started when Urmila Matondkar slammed Kangana and said that she should first look at her home state Himachal Pradesh before attacking Maharashtra or Mumbai and the alleged drug nexus in B-Town. She even addressed her as ‘Rudali’. She had said, “Why did this person who has been given Y-security from taxpayers’ money not give information about the drug nexus to the police?.” Urmila went on to add that just because someone is shouting all the time, it doesn’t mean that the person is speaking the truth.

After Kangana attacked her publicly, Urmila also gave it back. She also made a reference to how she backed Kangana when Shiv Sena’s member Sanjay Raut humiliated the Queen actor. Urmila condemned that act and was all praises for Kangana as an actor. In an interview with NDTV, she said, “It just goes to show where we stand, and that is precisely what I have been trying to say, that if you have a viewpoint, by all means, you have a right to express it. But it is just that the way you express it and how you express it does matter. Today, as I am spoken about like this by another woman, which level should that be going to? It really fails me.”

“When Kangana called me a Soft Port Star the Female Anchor interviewing her smiled gleefully. Isn’t that shocking,” asks @UrmilaMatondkar on @themojo_in . “Will all who opposed Shiv Sena’s slurs for Kangana condemn this too” #UrmilaMatondkar Full show: https://t.co/y5TmPhwJkt pic.twitter.com/Cj6VWAjOkF

It’s genuinely sad to see two women slamming each other on public platforms. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
