*Will consider names of former SC or HC judge to supervise UP SIT probe on day-to-day basis in Lakhimpur case, says apex court.

*SC seeks names of IPS officers who are of UP cadre but not natives of state, for being included in SIT to probe in Lakhimpur case.

*SC seeks names of IPS officers by Tuesday; posts case for announcing name of judge to monitor probe for Wednesday.

*UP agrees ex-judge should be considered to monitor probe and his state should not be an issue. PTI
