As anticipation builds for the forthcoming sixth Carrom World Cup, slated for November 2024 in California, this year’s championship assumes unparalleled importance, especially for those eyeing a spot in the National team. Competitors will vie for domestic acclaim and seek the honour of representing the USA on the global stage. Among the contenders are reigning champion and USA rank No.1 Ajay Arora, hailing from Pennsylvania, the formidable Women’s world No.5 Preeti Jakhotia from California, and the indomitable 11-time former US National champion Saravanan Chandrababu from Ohio, alongside a constellation of past victors and national stalwarts. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-fueled spectacle spanning three electrifying days, encompassing over 600 pulse-pounding matches in both Singles and Doubles formats.
