Telangana: Unhapy over third daughter being borne, man kills infant, held

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: In a gruesome incident, a man who was reportedly unhappy after his wife delivered a third female child, killed the infant by hurling her onto the concrete road. This incident was reported from Lineguda village of Kagaznagar district in Telangana on Tuesday morning.

The man Mesram Bapu Rao has since been taken into custody by the Kagaznagar rural police.

Accordign to police, Bapu Rao already had two daughters and his wife delivered a third daughter some 40 days ago. Unhappy with the third girl child, Bapu Rao was reported to have picked her up and banged her onto the road, leading to the infant’s death instantly. A village elder Bojju rao lodged a complaint with the police. A murde case has been registered and investigation is in progres.
