The new white-ball captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma is currently at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru where he is spending some time working on rehabilitating his long-lasting hamstring injury with the help of some of the best trainers and medical staff present in the country.

However, on Friday, Hitman also took some time out of his training schedule to talk to the rising stars of Indian cricket, who were present at the venue for a preparatory camp who found themselves to be extremely lucky to be in the presence of the legendary batter and athlete.

According to the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the young and aspiring cricketers got some “priceless lessons” from the skipper which would definitely help them make strides in their towards becoming great champions of the game.

As the rest of the Men in Blue are currently in South Africa, shaking off the jet lag, and getting used to the incredibly posh and green resort where they will be staying until January end, Sharma is charted to miss the three Test matches starting on December 26.

However, the selection committee and the media staff are hopeful that Sharma will be able to recover by the time the three Tests are over and would be fit enough to make his journey to the land of the Proteas to play his first ODI series as the full-time white-ball captain of the squad.

While many of his fans wished him good health and a speedy recovery, not everyone was convinced and started speculating that Sharma wasn’t actually injured but was faking it:

Why would Rohit Sharma fake an injury you ask? Well, according to some of the fans, he did so as he did not want to play red-ball cricket under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, especially after the rough transfer of power the two recently went through.

Earlier, certain reports had also suggested that Kohli would be backing out of the ODI series which will be captained by Sharma in South Africa but before the team left for their tour, Kohli had himself a press conference and clarified that all those reports were false and that he will be very much available for the team in limited-overs cricket.
