Tajinderpal Singh Toor confirms Olympic berth while also setting a national record

One of India’s best shot putters, Tajinderpal Singh Toor has qualified for Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held starting July this year. With the confirmation of berth, the athlete has also set a new national record.  Toor managed a throw of 21.49 meters, breaking the previous national record, and hence was able to clear the qualification mark for Olympics which was 21.10 meters.
