Speed up Command Control Centre works: Hyderbad CP

Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner CV Anand on Wednesday visited the Command and Control Centre at Banjara Hills and inspected the premises along with other officials.

The Commissioner interacted with officials of the Roads & Building Department and various firms engaged in executing different construction and developmental works of the building. The four towered multistoried building will have a crisis management centre, Command and Control Centre and the Hyderabad CP office.

The CP later inspected important facilities in the building including the auditorium, meeting halls and rooms of higher officials of various departments involved in crisis management.
Officials held a PowerPoint presentation of the ongoing works. Anand also enquired about the delay in the completion of some works and asked officials to follow up with the department and contractor. He told the officials that the centre should be readied for inauguration by March 31 when Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is expected to inaugurate it.

The Commissioner said that the Command Control Centre would be the third eye for the city of Hyderabad in the future. “It is the first-of-its-kind centre in the country and only Singapore and New York have such facilities,” he said.
