Smita Patil had a nightmare about ‘Coolie’ accident: Big B

Mumbai, Oct 19: We all know that megastar Amitabh Bachchan suffered a near fatal accident while shooting for an action scene in "Coolie" in 1982., which took him several months to recover. However, now Big B has revealed that his dear friend, late actress Smita Patil already had some vibes about something wrong going to happen and that she also had a bad dream about him just a day before the accident on the sets of "Coolie". The actress had immediately called him for to inform him.

Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with Smita in block buster film "Namak Halaal" was the chief guest at the event. Here, he recalled when Smita called him before the accident on the sets of ”Coolie” and told him that she had a nightmare about something happening to him.

Big B shared this piece at the launch of Maithili Rao’s book – "Smita Patil: A Brief Incandescence,”on Saturday in Mumbai, to mark the actress’ 60th birth anniversary. (Bollywood Country Report)
