Shady pathologist does autopsies in many counties

NEW JERSEY — A former state pathologist who performed autopsies in several South Jersey counties had been barred from practicing medicine in the state of New Mexico.

The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office reportedly has cautioned prosecutors to review all autopsies performed by Hisham Hashish (52) who has done post-mortem examinations in Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties.
Hashish surrendered his license in New Mexico in 2011 because of allegations of negligence. He was hired in New Jersey on May 23, 2011
