Seattle and Bellevue Welcome New Visa Centers for India Visa, OCI, and Passport Services

SEATTLE- VFS Global has launched the Seattle Centre to manage various services for the Government of India, including visas, Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), passport applications, renunciation of Indian citizenship, and the Global Entry Programme (GEP). Additionally, VFS will operate a centre in Bellevue to support the Indian community.

The Seattle centre will offer top-notch facilities to enhance the application experience. The Indian Consulate in Seattle will serve the Indian diaspora in nine Pacific Northwestern states, with a population of nearly 500,000. Prakash Gupta, Consul General of India in Seattle, emphasized the Government of India’s commitment to strengthening relations with these states and improving the convenience of consular services. He welcomed feedback for further improvements.

Amit Kumar Sharma, Head – Americas, VFS Global, expressed excitement about expanding their partnership with the Government of India. He highlighted that the new centres in Seattle and Bellevue will cater to the growing demand for visa and consular services, enhancing the customer experience.

VFS Global, the first outsourced visa services partner of the Ministry of External Affairs (India) since 2008, currently manages 52 Passport, Visa, and Consular Services Application Centers in 13 countries. These facilities will provide well-trained customer service experts and dedicated support for visa applicants.
