Saroha finishes seventh in men’s Discus Throw F52 of Rio Paralympics

Rio de Janeiro, Sep 8: India's Amit Kumar Saroha finished a disappointing seventh in the mens Discus Throw F52 final of the Paralympics 2016 here on Thursday.

Saroha, a F51 athlete could only throw 9.01 in his six attempts to finish last among the seven in what was India's first event of the day.

Latvia's Aigars Apinis clinched the gold in the category with a throw of 20.83 in his six attempts while Poland's Robert Jachimowicz took the silver throwing 19.10. Croatia's Velimir Sandor had to be content with the bronze with a throw of 18.24.
