Sameer Wankhede will no more be leading the cruise drug case

Mumbai – Following allegations of bribery and manipulation of evidence, Sameer Wankede has been removed from probing the cruise drug case involving high profile names including Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The case has reportedly been transferred from Mumbai zone of Narcotics Control Bureau to a special team of NCB in Delhi headquarters. It is believed that the decision to call for a team from Delhi has been taken in order to avoid any linkage of the NCB officials from the Hindi film industry or the political sphere.
