new delhi: The CBI on Friday said it had registered a case and conducted searches at seven locations, including in Delhi and Gurugram, in connection with a bank loan fraud worth Rs 1,028.94 crore. CBI officials said the agency registered the case against Fedderes Electric and Engineering Limited and others, including its directors and promoters: Akhtar Aziz Siddiqi, Sham Sundar Dhawan, Bindu Dogara, Ritushri Sharma, Arun Kumar Joshi and Randhir Jain, on the SBI complaint, alleging they had caused a loss of Rs 1,028.94 crore to a consortium led by it. — TNS

MP well collapse: 11 dead, 19 rescued

vidisha (mp): Eleven bodies were recovered and 19 persons were brought out alive from a well in which several people had fallen while trying to rescue a boy in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district, a minister said on Friday as the rescue operations ended.
