PM Modi names India’s highest sporting honor after Dhyan Chand

Hockey great Major Dhyan Chand has been honored for his exemplary contribution to the world of sports as the Prime Minister of India renamed India’s highest sporting honor Khel Ratna after the hockey legend.  The  Indian prime minister tweeted, “I have been getting many requests from citizens across India to name the Khel Ratna Award after Major Dhyan Chand. I thank them for their views.
