Parsippany Indian Community Hosts Congresswoman Mike Sherill and Ami Bera

PARSIPPANY, NJ- The Indian Association of Parsippany along with other associations hosted Congresswoman Mike Sherill (NJ District 11) along with Congressman Ami Bera in Parsippany, NJ on May 18th, 2019 at the residence of Dr.Jayesh Patel. The meeting was to discuss issues of the issues of the district and how to resolve these issues. The meeting was attended by over 50 people along with Parsippany Mayor Mike Sariano and other prominent democratic party people from Parsippany. Mike Sherill spoke on how she has worked on the capital hill to make health care more affordable and also to help expedite the infrastructure projects in New Jersey. She said she is committed to working harder in helping small business and also create a more productive environment for businesses to thrive in her district.

Ami Bera, who is the fourth time Congressman from California and the longest serving American Indian Congressman said he came here to support Mike Sherill who has been doing an amazing job as congresswoman and is part of the young team of democratic law makers that he works with in bringing a positive change in DC. He assured the people that as a former physician, he understands the health care system very well and is committed in bringing in a positive change and making it more affordable.

The meeting was hosted by prominent community leader Dr.Jayesh Patel and was attended by many American Indian Community leaders like Rajendar Dichpally, Ketan Bhuktani, Kamal Kaski, Shilpa Tulsidas, Bhagirath Mehta etc
