Pak’s junior hockey team here for World Cup

Junior hockey team of Pakistan landed here today for the Men’s Junior World Cup to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 24 to December 5.

The team’s arrival closely follows the beginning of pilgrim exchanges between the two countries. At least 1,500 Sikh pilgrims are in Pakistan till November 26 for Gurpurb. And, 70 Pakistani pilgrims are in India till November 25 for Urs. But Pakistan has denied overflight permission to the Srinagar-Sharjah flight and not admitted to the killing of an Indian fisherman. — TNS
