NTA defers JNUEE 2021 registration deadline; exam dates remain same

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday, notified the extension of application deadline for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE 2021). Eligible candidates will now be able to apply for the examination on the official website jnuexams.nta.ac.in till August 31 (5.00 PM).

Applicants can pay the application fee upto 11.50 PM. Earlier, the application deadline was August 27, 2021. The application correction window will open September 1 to 3, 2021. Candidates can access the revised schedule on NTA’s official website nta.ac.in.

“Pursuant to representations from candidates to extend the last date for submission of online forms and to ensure larger participation of candidates in the exams, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application for JNUEE-2021 upto 31.08.2021,” reads the official notice.

NTA will conduct the JNUEE 2021 for admission to various UG and PG courses offered at JNU for the academic year 2021-22 on September 20, 21, 22 and 23. The 3-hour exam will be held in a computer-based mode in an MCQ format in the English language only. The exam will be organised in two sessions: 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
