New York City Is A Horrible Place To Find A Job: Study

HI INDIA NEWS DESK
NEW YORK, NY— New study hints that making it in the city is even harder than perhaps Frank Sinatra realized.

New York City ranked 147th out of 182 cities in WalletHub’s “Best Places To Find A Job” study.

“Ultimately, your luck of finding work depends largely on location,” the study states.

And, as a location, New York City didn’t fare well when it came to the factors behind the ranking.

The city ranked dead last in affordable housing, 180th in average work and commute time, 178th in median annual income and 177th in job opportunities.

So, what cities were the best?

San Francisco, despite being the nation’s second-most expensive rental city behind the Big Apple, grabbed the number one spot in the study.

Columbia, Maryland, snared the second spot, while Orlando, Florida, San Jose, California, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, rounded out the top five.

The overall worst place to find a job was Memphis, Tennessee, at least according to the study.
