Nepal’s earthquake has killed 2,123 people: police

Kathmandu, April 26 (IANS) Police in Nepal said on Sunday that the powerful earthquake which shook the country has left 2,123 people dead.

Another 4,627 people were injured in varying degrees, a police official told the media here.

A 7.9 magnitude quake shook Nepal on Saturday.
