NEW YORK, NY — It appears that the protesters were advocating for the rights of excluded workers, who are not eligible for regular unemployment insurance in New York.

The march on the Manhattan Bridge caused traffic disruptions during the morning rush hour, and city emergency management officials advised New Yorkers of the situation. As of 9:30 a.m., the NYPD reported that they had not received any information about any arrests.

The demonstration highlights the ongoing struggles faced by many workers in the current economic climate and the need for more comprehensive support programs.
