Man killed in road accident in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A hotel waiter died in a road accident at Punjagutta early on Sunday.

Shaik Murtuza (46), a resident of Bachupally was returning home on his two-wheeler from his workplace around 2 am when the accident happened.

“When Murtaza reached the Big Bazaar stretch at Lakdi ka pul, a two wheeler which is yet to be identified came in the wrong direction and hit the victim’s vehicle. Murtuza fell on the road and sustained serious injuries,” said Punjagutta police.

He was rushed to a hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead by the doctors. A case under Section 304 (A) of IPC is booked by the Punjagutta police and investigation going on.
