Man electrocuted while cleaning water tank in Suryapet

Suryapet: A person was electrocuted while he came in contact with a live wire while cleaning a water tank at Thandava of Munagala mandal in Suryapet district on Wednesday morning.

The victim was identified as Manjula Srinivas (35), who accidentally came in contact with a live wire that was shorn off the insulation tape while cleaning the water tank.

Family members, who noticed him getting electrocuted, immediately turned off the electricity supply from the main board and tried to save him. He, however, died on the way to a hospital in Kodad.

Munagala police filed a case and took up investigation.
