Man arrested for cheating job aspirants in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police Detective Department on Monday arrested Tippula Reddy Bhaskar Reddy of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh on charges of cheating job aspirants on the pretext of providing job visas. He is said to have duped people of Rs 4 crore.

According to the police, the man had set up a computer training institute called Domain Network Zone at Ameerpet and collected money from job aspirants who approached the institute.

“Bhaskar Reddy assured them visas to the United States through his contacts and took money. He later avoided them and switched off his mobile phone,” police said, adding that a case was registered following a complaint from a victim.

Reddy was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
