Longtime St. Sabina pastor Pfleger receives support, releases statement after sex abuse allegation sidelines him

The Rev. Michael Pfleger, the senior pastor of Chicago’s largest Black Catholic parish who stepped away from ministry because of an allegation of child sex abuse from more than 40 years ago, released a short statement Wednesday thanking people across the country for their support.
