BUY-SELL | HELP WANTED | MATRIMONIAL

Hyderabad: Director-General of Police M Mahendar Reddy has asked the officials to strictly enforce the lockdown in the State from Wednesday. He said no pass was required for those travelling during the lockdown relaxation timings from 6 am to 10 am. Interacting with Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police in districts through video conferencing from the police headquarters, he said senior officers must be on the field to ensure that the lockdown was enforced strictly.

There were no restrictions for travelling on national highways. Any violation of lockdown orders would be dealt strictly and cases would be registered against violators under the Disaster Management Act and under relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code (IPC). Reviewing the preparedness, the DGP said media persons, who are moving out for news coverage, must carry their accreditation cards or identity cards issued by their companies. All government employees should also carry their identity cards while arriving at the office.

Separate passes will also be issued to those transporting groceries and essential commodities mentioning the timings. Those going to administer Covid-19 vaccine would be permitted after checking the details of the first dose of vaccination on their mobile phone.
