Bollywood celebs getting married make their fans and media go crazy. When these celebs tragically end their relationship, gossipmongers have all sorts of tales to tell and fans feel broken to see their favourite couple part ways. Well, that’s how fans felt when Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan announced they are heading for divorce in 2014.
Back then, there were several rumours about possible reasons for Hrithik and Sussanne’s split that started to do the rounds. A few blamed Hrithik for his alleged involvement with Kangana Ranaut and some questioned Sussanne as there were reports that Arjun Rampal is the reason behind her drifting apart from her husband.
In an interview with CNN IBN back in 2017, Hrithik had addressed infidelity rumours and shared, “Sussanne has been very very vocal about this. She has been very vocal. And I feel like laughing at people. When people get divorced, it is not always because of infidelity by the man. That is just such a small-minded assumption.” He further added, “So the general assumption was, ‘Ah he is the superstar, he must have done something wrong. She must have caught him.’ That is not the case.”
Cut to 2021, Sussanne has grabbed headlines after she wished her rumoured boyfriend Arslan Goni on Instagram and made it official. They have been rumoured to be dating each other for quite a long time. These two have been spotted with each other on several events.
Sussanne wrote, “Happy happpyyyy happiest Birthday. I wish for you a world filled with the best of everything that you so deserve..with the brightest of smiles and with all the purest Love to surround you. You are the most beautiful energy that I have ever come across. Shine brightest limitless..” Taking to the comments section, Arslan wrote, “Love you”.
As the picture started going viral, people started to roast Sussanne for leaving Hrithik for Arslan. People trolled him by giving names like ‘namuna and chappri’. They also questioned her for giving up her relationship with Hrithik for someone like Goni.
