Just like the rest of us, Katie Holmes loves a comfortable ‘fit. But as we all learned when everything was canceled and closed amid the pandemic, comfortable can still be trendy. Holmes was living proof of this earlier this week while running errands in New York. 

For the occasion, she wore a pair of slim-fitting, low-rise sweatpants (comfortable), black leather Birkenstock sandals (also comfortable), and a tank top in this season’s It color: bubblegum pink. 

People always have a lot to say about low-rise anything, and they also have a lot to say about “ugly” sandals, but both have become mainstream these days, so why not wear them together? To add to the trendiness, add a dose of bright pink à la Holmes.
