Italian American group calls for restoring Columbus statue in Chicago’s Arrigo Park

An Italian American organization is calling on Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s administration to restore a statue of Christopher Columbus to a Near South Side park because of a decades-old agreement with the Chicago Park District.
