Indian Student Nitheesha Kandula Goes Missing in California

SAN BERNARDINO, CA- The unfortunate incidents involving Indian students continue in the United States, with the latest being that a 23-year-old Indian student who has gone missing from California. Nitheesha Kandula, a California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) student, went missing on May 28. She was last seen in Los Angeles. CSUSB police chief John Guttierez, posted about her being missing in a post on X on June 1.

Kandula hails from Hyderabad, Kandhula. She is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, and around 160 pounds (72.5 kgs) in weight with black hair and black eyes. According to the statement, she was possibly driving a 2021 Toyota Corolla with a California license plate.

Kandula’s missing information comes at a time when the Indian community has been grappling with cases of many students gone missing in the recent past.
