Indian men’s hockey team lose in a contest for gold against Belgium, hopes for Bronze still alive

Indian men’s hockey team had a solid chance at gold at Tokyo Olympics after storming into the semi-finals but failed to turn it into an opportunity despite best efforts against Belgium on Tuesday.  Following the conclusion of the match, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was all praises for the team as he took to Twitter to say, “Wins and losses are a part of life. Our Men’s Hockey Team at #Tokyo2020 gave their best and that is what counts.” He also extended his wishes to the team for the upcoming match for the contention of a Bronze medal.
