HI INDIA NEWS DESK
DALLAS, TX- In a deadly crash in Texas the life of a teenager has changed forever. An Indian family comprising couple Arvind and Pradeep along with their 17-year-old daughter Andril were on their way to drop-off their daughter at University of Texas at Dallas when a fatal accident claimed all of their lives. Their other son, 14-year-old Adiryan, was at home and did not accompany them. The community is in a state of shock that in a sudden blow of bad fate the young boy lost all of his family members.

The family was driving their Kia with Arvind on the driving seat. Around six miles north of Lampasas on US 281 at about 5:45 am on August 14, Texas DPS got to know about the fatal crash.

According to Texas DPS, a 2004 Cadillac CTS, driven by Jacinto Gudino Duran, of Copperas Cove, was heading southbound on US 281. At the same time, the Indian family who were on their 2024 Kia Telluride were heading northbound on US 281.

Evidence at the scene showed that the right rear tire of the Cadillac had a blowout, DPS said, and witnesses said the Cadillac passed them at a high rate of speed prior to the collision. The blowout led to the driver of the Cadillac losing control and crossing into the northbound lane into the Kia’s path. This led to Kia crashing into the passenger side of Cadillac, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

All people in both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Indian family had just celebrated their daughter Andril’s admission to the University of Texas at Dallas to study computer science.
