India fast-tracks emergency approvals for foreign-produced Covid-19 vaccines

The Covid-19 task force on Tuesday recommended the government to authorise those foreign-produced Covid-19 vaccines which have been granted emergency approval by WHO-listed agencies. In an attempt to expand its “basket of vaccines” amid a raging second Covid-19 wave, India is ramping up its inoculation drive by introducing Covid-19 vaccines manufactured abroad.
