I had no money to join acting school: Emotional Akshay Kumar

Mumbai, Sep 29: Bollywood’s action hero Akshay Kumar, whose upcoming production venture ‘The Shaukeens’ has three NSD graduates- Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra in the lead, says he could not afford to enroll himself in an acting school during his earlier days.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars Lisa Haydon in the female lead. It will hit theatres on November 7. (Bollywood Country Report)
