Mumbai, Jan 25 : Actress Sapna Pabbi, who essays a pivotal role in web series "Breathe", says the medium doesn’t bother her as she only wants to be a part of a good story.

Sapna, who gained popularity with television series "24", has also worked in a web series titled "The Trip" and a feature film "Khamoshiyan", before landing "Breathe", which also features R. Madhavan and Amit Sadh.

Does she find the digital platform more interesting than feature films?

"Honestly, good content matters to me… The medium does not matter. Whether it is a TV show, a film or a web series, I am not bothered. I have grown up in England, so it does not make any sense to me to differentiate. The watching should be great, no matter where you are watching," Sapna told IANS.

The show is an intense thriller. Sapna says this didn’t give the cast much time to have fun during the show as everyone was very focussed on their characters.

Giving an insight into her role, she said: "I am playing Ria Ganguly who is a very strong, independent-minded woman, a mother who lost her child and a wife who is taking care of her husband. Even after the tragedy, she is constantly trying to get on with life."

Coming from a non-film background, Sapna said she has learnt a lot on the job and her ability as an actress has grown over a period of time.

"When I came to work on ’24’, I knew almost nothing about acting, but I am constantly working on my skills and can see a growth. I am also adapting to the work culture here and it’s all good," she said.

Directed by Mayank Sharma, "Breathe" is an 8-episode thriller featuring. The show will be released on Friday on Amazon Prime Original.
