Gitanjali Devshala: Young warriors lead climate change battle

Hyderabad: Coinciding with the Climate Change conclave COP26 at Glasgow where world leaders gathered to find a solution to the growing climate change crisis, students of Gitanjali Devshala presented their model on various issues concerning the climate.

The school planned the IDEA (Inter-Disciplinary Enrichment Activity) in which students of classes IV to IX participated in interdisciplinary projects that were survey and research-based for over a week.In the grand finale, students of Class IX had a section-wise inter-house competition on the comparative study of three countries that have successfully worked on protection or conservation of the environment and natural resources.

It was a day of learning with students presenting on various projects like the use of AI to conserve natural resources, using a carbon tax, polymer films, use of Graphene as an alternative, alternatives for CFC among other concepts.
