Gitanjali Devshala: Towards an eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi

Hyderabad: Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm in Gitanjali Devshala. The little devotees of the pre-primary section were happy and thrilled to welcome the elephant-headed God and magic master to their virtual classrooms.

Some grandparents too joined in enthusiastically. The children spent the day making lovely Ganeshas with playdough and leaves emphasizing eco-friendly Ganeshas for celebrations. They decorated the tiny idols with tilak and bindi.

They listened in rapt attention to the story of the birth of Lord Ganesha and watched a video on Ganesha- the destroyer of obstacles. They recited shlokas and sang songs in praise of Lord Ganesha.
