Gehraiyaan: 3 Things We Liked About The Teaser Of The Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi & Ananya Panday Starrer

Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday did well in building up some mystery around their new film that was helmed by Shakun Batra. The cast did often share BTS videos from the shoot, but there were no hints dropped about what the audience should expect. Batra finally unveiled the teaser of the film and it has been titled Gehraiyaan.

The teaser is gripping and here is what we liked about it:

Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Chemistry

The teaser gave us a few glimpses of Padukone and Chaturvedi getting intimate and their chemistry is quite palpable. It will be interesting to see how well this works out in the movie.

Fresh Pairings

There are some other fresh pairings too. Padukone is paired with Dhairya Karwa, while we will see Panday and Chaturvedi together. The teaser reveals just enough to keep everyone intrigued until the release.

The Anticipation

There is too much happening on the screen in very little time. Batra had earlier discussed the topic of the film, telling PTI that it is “a relationship drama where the characters find themselves stuck in a morally ambiguous zone.”

The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, and was scheduled to release in February. However, due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the shoot was delayed and the release date was postponed. Gehraiyaan will now release on Amazon Prime Video on January 25, 2022.
