Four held in Odisha with 654 kg of cannabis

Bhubaneswar, June 10 (IANS) Four people were arrested on Tuesday in Odisha’s Koraput district with 654 kg of cannabis, a police official said.

 

Dharumu Nayak, Govinda Rana, Arakhita Majhi and Dasarathi Mishra were arrested during a raid in Semiliguda town, over 500 km from the state capital Bhubaneswar, Inspector General of Police (south-western range) Yashwant Jethwa told IANS.

Police have seized 654 kg of cannabis, locally known as ganja, along with a mini truck, he said.
