‘Entrepreneurs must aim for continuous evolution’

Hyderabad: Continuous evolution should be the aim for all the budding entrepreneurs, Paradise Food Court CEO, Gautam Gupta said.

Gupta shared his experiences with the journey of the Paradise through the topic ‘Transforming a Heritage Business – The Journey of Paradise Biryani’ at the 21st WiseViews, an interactive webinar series conducted by ICFAI on Friday.

He explained how the heritage business of Paradise began in 1953 as a small café to a landmark multi-cuisine restaurant giant. The world famous biryani was added in the Paradise business after seven years of the inception of the café, he said.

“Connecting to customer in their own local culture is one of the important ingredients of success. If you want to scale, your culture and values are critical,” he said.

The webinar was moderated by Prof. R Prasad, Director – Academic Wing, ICFAI Group and Prof. Sudhakar Rao, Director – Branding, ICFAI Group.

About 250 participants including entrepreneurs, research scholars, and prospective students from various parts of the country registered for the event which was also streamed live on Facebook.
