Eatala resigned for selfish gains: Harish

BUY-SELL | HELP WANTED | MATRIMONIAL

Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday said Eatala Rajender was the only Minister, before he resigned from TRS, not to take up construction of 2BHK houses in Huzurabad Assembly constituency that he represented.

“Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao sanctioned 4,000 double bedroom houses to each Minister. While all Ministers completed their quota of 2BHK houses and even held house-warming ceremonies in their respective constituencies, no such activity was seen in Huzurabad,” Harish Rao said, adding that Rajender resigned from the Assembly only for his selfish gains and not for either welfare of Huzurabad people or development of the constituency.

The Minister, who was interacting with people who met him in Huzurabad to extend support to TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav, promised that he would ensure construction of 5,000 double bedroom houses in Huzurabad if Srinivas Yadav was elected in the by-poll on October 30.

Pointing out that the people of Huzurabad had elected Rajender as MLA six times, he appealed to the people to give an opportunity to Srinivas Yadav this time around for a period of two years.

People from Machanapalli of Jammikunta mandal, Pothireddypeta and Rampur of Huzurabad mandal met Harish Rao and extended their support to TRS.

Informing that they were already getting benefits from various government schemes such as Aasara pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi, Rythu Bandhu, KCR kit and others, they said the development of villages was possible only with TRS in power.

Promising to work for the victory of TRS candidate in Huzurabad by-election, the villagers appealed to the Minister to take steps to take up long standing developmental works.
