Chandigarh, September 30

Did Tesla CEO Elon Musk watched the last night’s IPL match between Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals? Not really.

But the cricket fans skyjacked one of his tweets where he called Maxwell “incredible” and it has gone insanely viral.

The “incredible” timing of Musk’s tweet allowed social media uses to draw claim that the Tesla CEO ‘praised’ all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, the cricketer.

Musk was, however, reacting to an article highlighting the contributions of James Clerk Maxwell, a scientist who was “responsible for explaining the forces behind the radio in your car, the magnets on your fridge, the heat of a warm summer day and the charge on a battery,” a story in Space noted.

Whether Musk watched the match or not, Maxwell was indeed incredible on Wednesday night as he starred for Bangalore easy win over Rajasthan Royals at the IPL.

He stitched an important stand with KS Bharat after Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal were dismissed. Bharat got out to Mustafizur Rahman for 44 but Maxwell smashed Chris Morris an unbeated 50 to seal victory.
