Devoleena celebrates Navratri as Gopi

Mumbai, Oct10 (IANS) Originally Bengali, but Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s Gujarati character on "Saath Nibhana Saathiya" has made her familiar with navratri celebrations.

The actress plays Gopi Bahu in the show.

"Playing Gopi bahu has made me familiar to Gujarati traditions and now I know almost all rituals performed during Navratri in Gujarat. I love singing bhajans, offering prasad and doing garba," Devoleena said in a statement.

She further added:“In the show, we have planned a huge Navratri track ahead for the viewers."

The show is aired on Star Plus.
