Designers show designs in US

New Jersey: Famous fashion designers Shyamal and Bhumika from Ahmedabad were in New York and New Jersey for an exclusive showcase on March 29, 30 and 31, 2013. The fashion event attracted more than 800 people from the tri-state and surrounding states at Studio Arte on West 37th street in New York and Renaissance Hotel in Iselin, New Jersey. The exclusive collection included bridal wear, formal wear and other variety collection for men and women started from $200 to $5,000. After successful showcase in Somerset, New Jersey in October 2012, the couple held their second fashion showcase in New York and New Jersey area last weekend. The showcases were also held in Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia during their recent U.S. visit in last few weeks.

The special edition of wedding, festive and formalwear collections were the highlights for brides and grooms gearing up to tie the knot in the U.S. The collection symbolized authority in colors, cuts and embellishments and reminded the grandeur of the Mughal Courts. The designers have coordinated the women’s wear with the men’s ensembles recreating a couple dressing concept that used to be a part of the royal “Durbaars.”
