Deepika Padukone has high hopes from politicians

Mumbai, April 11: With the election fever gripping the nation actress Deepika Padukone, hopes that after coming to power politicians will try and fulfill their promises.

“I definitely feel that this a sentiment that most people are feeling right now which is, we always expect, you vote for someone, then there are lots of promises made. I hope that this time all the promises that are made are lived up to,” Deepika said.

Meanwhile Deepika has also made a promise to cast her vote and then go to attend IIFA awards in Tampa Bay. Kick starting 24 the April IIFA awards ceremony is coinciding with the election date in Mumbai. (Bollywood Country Report)
