Consulate General of India and Hindi Coordination Committee Collaborate for Hindi Diwas Celebration in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL- Hindi Divas was organized by Consulate General of India in association with Hindi Coordination Committee, Chicago on 22 September 2023 at the Consulate. Distinguished persons and institutions, Hindi language enthusiasts, promoters of Hindi language in Chicago and nearby areas were present during this interactive, literary event followed by a short cultural program. The programme included a short Drama “Balidan” by students of “Dramatech of America”, poetry segment by kids and adults and a panel discussion on the “Progress and Prospects of Hindi”. As a token of appreciation, Deputy Consul General T.D. Bhutia presented books to the kids who participated in the cultural activity.
