Collector suspends two Panchayat Secretaries in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: District Collector M Hanumantha Rao suspended two Panchayat Secretaries of Malkapur village in Kondapur Mandal and Muthangi village in Patancheru Mandal on charges of granting permissions to construct buildings in violation of guidelines on Thursday.

Though District Panchayat Officer identified several violations in buildings, Malkapur Panchayat Officer Sunitha did not demolish them attracting her suspension, the Collector said. Muthangi Panahchat Secretary Kishore was also caught permitting several illegal constructions.

Meanwhile, Hanumantha Rao also issued show-cause notices to sarpanch, vice-sarpanch, and ward members for passing a resolution in the Gram Panchayat to permit constructions in layouts which were in violation of guidelines.
